About the crew
A young company, an old coastline.
Connor Coastal Construction opened its doors in 2025, but the coast we build on has been arguing with hurricanes for a lot longer than that — so we build accordingly.
We're a Wilmington-based general contractor covering everything from a single leaky roof to a full addition across six counties of southeastern North Carolina, and we've yet to meet a crawlspace, a 1970s electrical panel, or a stretch of August humidity that scared us off. We show up when we say we will, we explain the punch list in plain English, and we treat your house the way we'd want ours treated: like it still has forty more hurricane seasons left in it.
New company, sure. But it's run by people who've spent their careers on Cape Fear-area job sites, which means the learning curve on "how coastal construction actually works" is already behind us.

I grew up around job sites — my family has been in construction for more than 40 years, so I learned early what a good contractor looks like, and what a bad one costs you. Before running crews, I built a career as a CPA and a licensed NC Realtor, which turns out to be useful when you're keeping a construction budget honest and a timeline realistic. I started Connor Coastal Construction on a simple standard: answer the phone, show up when we say we will, do what we said we'd do, and hand over a quality finished product for a fair price. Everything else on this site is just details.
